From Cuddalore, Thirukovilur is about 70 kms via Panruti,
From Madras, one can also take a train to Villipuram (2 ½ hours) and then a bus from Villipuram to Thiru Kovilur ( 1 hour).
from kallakurichi, Thirukovilur is about 45 kms via Thiyagadurvam and rishivinthiyam,
from Thiruvannamalai, thirukovilur is about 35 kms via Veraiyur,
from panruti , Thirukovilur is about 46 kms via madapattu,
Currently there are no trains to Thiru Kovilur as the section is under broad gauge conversion.
